About Kristina Kourasis, Esq.
California Employment Lawyer, Kristina Kourasis, Esq. is based in Encino, San Fernandino, serving employers in greater Los Angeles areas and all over Southern California. Kristina is a top rated employment lawyer in San Fernando Valley, and was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2019.
Kristina received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2011, where she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Philip S. Gutierrez of the Central District of California and edited the ABA’s Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law. She received her B.A. with honors from the University of Southern California in Political Science with an emphasis in Philosophy in 2001.
Before joining the Firm, Kristina ran a solo practice devoted to advising employers in employment law matters and representing employees in a wide variety of employment disputes. In order to broaden her understanding of the employer/employee relationship, she subsequently specialized in complex business litigation at Stris & Maher LLP, focusing her practice in areas of employment, employee benefits, and healthcare litigation.
Upon joining Landegger Verano & Davis, Kristina discovered her passion for educating, training, advising and defending employers in all areas of labor and employment law. She is a regular presenter before many HR and business organizations throughout Southern California, and in 2019, she was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce. Kristina is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of California, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, and the Eastern European Bar Association.

Kristina is based in the Encino HQ in San Fernandino Valley. Her day-to-day work involves advising employers on wage and hour, workplace policies, leave of absence and disability accommodation issues, employee handbooks, new hire package, workplace policies and documents, and general employment practices counseling.

- Successfully representing employers in discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, disability and wrongful termination cases in state and federal courts

A strong believer in ongoing education and training, she publishes many blog articles to keep clients informed, including Biden to Unveil Vaccine Mandate Plan Covering Two-Thirds of US Workers, and California Implements a Requirement that Workers and Visitors in Health Care Settings be Fully Vaccinated.
She volunteers and supports many nonprofit organnizations by providing complimentary webinars and video training sessions such as:

She volunteers her time supporting some of the nonprofits that she represents such as TASC’s recent 5K Walk and Fundraiser. Kristina is fluent in Russian, and proficient in Armenian and Greek.
