Camarillo Office Update

Dear Clients and Friends,

As you may already know, our firm has scheduled to resume our regular workshops commencing on January 18, 2013 in the San Fernando Valley and on January 25, 2013 in Camarillo. There are many new laws and legal trends that will impact your businesses and we believe that it will be beneficial for you to attend and participate. It was not an easy decision to resume the Camarillo workshop so soon after Michael Lavenant’s passing; but we are doing so in his honor with recognition that we are continuing to serve our clients and the Ventura County business community.

Effective January 1, 2013, the Camarillo office will have a new Office Head, one of our Senior Associates, Chris Moriarty. Additionally, one of our experienced Associates, Marie Davis, will be spending more time in the Camarillo office. Both Chris and Marie will be alternating their time between the firm’s Camarillo and Encino locations.

Chris Moriarty graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 1998 and was a classmate and close friend of Michael Lavenant. Michael introduced Chris to the firm and, in 2003, Chris joined us as an Associate. Chris has lived his entire life in Simi Valley and he is excited about spending more time in Ventura County and about the shorter commute to the Camarillo office. Chris will be at the January 25, 2013 workshop to meet you.

Marie Davis graduated from the University of California, Hastings School of Law in 2006 and joined our firm in 2007. She is an experienced employment law attorney and litigator. Marie currently lives in Ventura and is likewise looking forward to a shorter commute to the Camarillo office. Marie will be presenting the January 25, 2013 workshop with me and is looking forward to meeting you all.
