Chris earned his B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting), in 1995 from California State University Northridge, and earned his J.D. in 1998 from Southwestern University School of Law. While at Southwestern, he was awarded the Best Brief Writer Finalist, Southwestern University Moot Court Honors Program (1996) Intramural Competition and the American Jurisprudence Book Award Legal Research and Writing II. Chris was also a member of the Southwestern Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas, as a Staff Member (1996-1997) and Associate Editor (1997-1998). He was admitted to the Bar in 1998.
Chris works with employers in a range of industries, from financial institutions to non-profit organizations, large and small businesses and other corporate entities throughout Southern California. He represents clients in state and federal courts, in hearings before administrative agencies, and provides counseling on employment matters, including preparing employment agreements and drafting employee handbooks and company policies. Chris has successfully litigated appellate matters including two decisions which were published by the California Second District Court of Appeal (First American Title Company. v. Mirzaian (2003) 108 Cal.App.4th 956 [134 Cal.Rptr.2d 206] and Elysian Investment Group v. Stewart Title Guaranty Co. (2002) 105 Cal.App4th 315 [129 Cal.Rptr.2d 372]).
Chris is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Labor & Employment Section.
